A poem about people’s plight
People tell me, write about love. Write it in a poem or a story. Write and don’t worry, as “imagination permits all!” Imagination builds the castles of fancy. Sweetens bitter lips with honey. Imagination makes all the anguish disappear at least for a moment. Write, let it not be a bother to you, with a kind word ward away all the nastiness and insolence!
Write, I will, to the bitter ones to show them the delight of life! To the sad ones to show joy. To the angry ones, mellowness of the soul. To the elderly, youth. To the lonely ones a soulmate. To the sick from pain and suffering at least a brief respite(to children in particular)!
Oh, Lord Almighty! I pray to thee, stay with me as you always have! Please let my words “take flight” and ease the people’s plight!
